International Programmers Day
Celebrating the hard work of programmers everywhere; Nov 5, 2007
International Programmers Day
I declare to you, we as programmers are united as one, divided by zero.
I say, we should make up our own holiday. Support all we have worked to accomplish. All our lazy bosses who probably don’t know anything about computers let alone the hard work we do, cracking the whip, ordering us to program faster, because all we’re doing is ‘writing words’ and after all: "it shouldn’t take so long". Enough oppression, help support International Programmers Day on November 5th. Celebrate the world WE have created with our hours upon hours hard work and our constant sleepless nights. The caffeine addictions most of us constantly fight with and the horrid beast that is bugs we must fight to over come. Together on November the 5th we shall celebrate the hard work we have done to push the world into the future.
Spread the word!
The site has been made. But that's only the beginning of the battle, like everything else, once it's been put on a medium, there has to be the outspoken voice of the people who like the idea. And the never ceasing prattling of people who hate the idea. Either way, the site will receive traffic. So, spread the word, make the site well known and popular. Bring people to aid our cause.
